What is the AAWP API? #
With the AAWP API, we have created our own infrastructure that allows us to provide additional functionality to our WordPress plugin.
Access to the AAWP API is automatically established by the plugin. No extra credentials are needed for this.
Your personal license key, which you received when purchasing the plugin, is used for legitimization and must be entered in the plugin settings.
Important: Access to the API is only possible with an active license. You can buy a new license or renew your existing license at any time.
What are the functions of the AAWP API? #
Retrieving Amazon product information #
Our API can retrieve product information about all Amazon products from all stores worldwide.
This allows customers to use our plugin even if they don’t have access to the official Amazon Product Advertising API yet.
As providing this feature also costs resources for us, there are currently the following limitations:
- Each active license can retrieve 150 products per month
- Usage is reset automatically on the 1st day of each month
If you don’t need an already placed product anymore, we recommend removing it from the plugin’s database so it won’t get counted next month.
Current technical restrictions: Bestsellers and new releases lists cannot be used.
Can I have more products than the included free quota? #
If you need more than the included 150 products per month, you can upgrade your API access with a flexible, monthly subscription that can be canceled at any time. There is also an additional discount for annual payment.
Currently, we offer the following quota options:
- 150 products per month
- 250 products per month
- 500 products per month
- 1000 products per month
The above packages available for purchase will be added on top of the current free quota of 150.
This means that if you purchase the 150 package, you will have a total of 150 + 150 = 300 products per month available.

After completing the purchase, extended access is set up for you in the background. This can take up to a maximum of 24 hours but usually happens almost immediately.
Can I have access to the AAWP API with my expired plugin license? #
If your AAWP license has expired, you can purchase separate access to the AAWP API without having the need to renew your AAWP plugin license (even when we recommend that, due to having access to the latest security and feature updates).
Unlike the upgrades listed above, the free quota of 150 is only available for active plugin licenses.
This means that if you purchase the 150 package, you will also have 150 products available per month.
